PRESS RELEASE: Partnership Carerix and Hogeschool voor Recruitment

‘Sharing knowledge and expertise helps to improve recruitment and employment services’

Delft/Oosterbeek, 25 October 2016 – Carerix, which suppliers recruitment and staffing systems, has established a partnership with Hogeschool voor Recruitment (HvR). The partnership is aimed at sharing knowledge before and during the course in order to further improve the standard of professional recruiters. The curriculum at HvR has a very strong practical focus. This means participants immediately achieve results in their recruitment activities, have more expertise and immediately establish a solid portfolio for themselves. Partly thanks to the partnership with Carerix, course participants are able to maximise their knowledge about recruitment and staffing systems.

The Hogeschool voor Recruitment (College of Recruitment) was founded on 1 October 2015. Strong demand for recruiters and scarcity among potential candidates resulted in a major gap between demand and supply. In addition, recruitment is a special profession, which has changed greatly in recent years. For instance, due to the use of social media, the impact of mobile applications, new recruitment software and techniques, as well as recruitment data.

““It is very important for recruiters to set up their own network”, says Ellen van Hierden, director of ARTRA and one of the people who helped found the HvR. “Being a personnel intermediary is a unique profession…How do you perform an intake and what is the importance of technology and software support? The partnership with Carerix means we now work with a market leader in software support, which includes CRM and ATS systems (Applicant Tracking System). Knowledge sharing allows the whole sector to become smarter; this partnership shows that we are willing to inform one another, whether this involves partners or customers/students.”

As part of its objective to ‘Take recruitment to the next level’ via effective teaching and training, HvR uses the best support systems to organise on-site lectures at Carerix. Carerix is also part of the exam committee. This clearly emphasises the importance of technology and software support within the course at the Hogeschool voor Recruitment.

Reinald Snik, director of Carerix, says that, by collaborating with the HvR, Carerix is playing an important role in knowledge and development within the sector.

“Our recruitment and staffing systems for personnel intermediaries and corporates have allowed us to set the standard in the market, which allows recruiters and hiring managers to work (together) in the most effective manner. And candidate experience, as well as customer and user experience, is essential when doing so.”
